Application: 11cm Tin Ties for sealing our 50g and 100g Traditional Tea Bags. 15cm Tin Ties ideal for sealing our 100g and 250g Traditional Tea Bags.

How to use: Simply hold the tea pack flat, place tin tie at the top, and roll the pack down, around the tin tie. Then fold the tin tie over at the sides to hold the seal in place.

Height: 1 mm at sides, where the wire goes through. <1 mm in middle section.


Tin ties are the traditional method of closing tea and other food packets.

Their huge popularity was due to the fact that you could re-seal your packet time after time and keep your goods really fresh. The resurgence in traditional reusable, green packaging has seen these ties come back into full use again, not just in the tea trade, but wherever high quality goods need keeping fresh but get-at-able.
