A wonderfully refreshing fruity tea that tastes good hot, cold,
or indeed frozen.
Just imagine all the tastes of lemon cake without all those pesky calories. This tea is perfect for an afternoon treat. Herb and Fruit teas are full of natural fruits, which are very tasty and refreshing. There are significant amounts of Vitamin C and other essential nutrients in these dried fruits, and they are caffeine-free so perfectly suited for all the family, young and old. We feel this one will particularly appeal to the young, and those with a sweet tooth.
A few tips:
- Make ice lollies from the tea for your children to enjoy outside with their friends.
- In the evening after dinner, they can enjoy a warm beverage and you can enjoy a relatively peaceful moment as a family.
- Even better, you can share a pot and listen to the tales of their day.
- If it's just adults, you can add a little gin, rum or vodka to the cold brew to make a tasty cocktail.
Do not add milk - the milk will curdle due to the ingredients in this blend.
Try brewing the mix a second time, and perhaps add a little mint or ginger, for a slightly more sophisticated taste.
Great with a little honey.
Especially delicious iced.
Iced Tea
Make as for hot, but add extra tea - double the amount of tea per cup is recommended.
When the tea has cooled a little, pour over ice and then serve.
Cold Brew
For a smoother taste experience.
Place the tea in a jug and add cold water.
Leave to infuse for a few hours (or overnight in the fridge)
Strain and enjoy.
