Rooibos is a red bush herbal tea from South Africa. It is caffeine free and said to have many health benefits. It is calorie free and great to drink hot or iced. It has a bright red brew, even on the second infusion. The taste is smoother than green or black teas, because it lacks the astringent tannins that are typical of those teas. Red teas are full of minerals, such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, zinc, copper, sodium, iron, and manganese, as well as vitamin C and antioxidants.
